Mottahedeh Showroom

The design for this 3200 square foot showroom of world famous porcelain and dinnerware consists of distinct museum-like galleries to display the merchandise. A diagonal arcade slices through the store to unify individual exhibition zones and create a long perspective, visually enlarging the small showroom. Ambient indirect lighting is provided from overhead light trough elements, making the height of an existing low ceiling less noticeable.
Designed with Andy Pressman, FAIA.
